Bring linen for a twin sized bed or you'll have to sign for some there. You don't get much time in the chow hall during the week and you have to eat at another one during the weekends. There are gyms on post you can use during your down time. There's no cable or anything in the barracks. You have a private room accessible via key card, they are very well maintained. Chow hall is the standard Army chow hall. Your on post so, the GYMs are available too just pick one that coincides with your schedule. Most of the installation is made up of training areas and ranges. So you should be able to find a service of your choice within a relatively short distance (within a couple of miles) of the school.

The facility itself, the school and mess hall are less than ten years old with the barracks having been completed in the last few years.

The PT track and field is between the school and barracks and has a ruberized track.

A really nice facility as far as Army standards go. The barracks are really nice. It's a suite you will share. Word of advice...keep your shower door shut after you get out...the fire alarms are sensitive and the steam can set them off. Bring your own linen. The chow hall isn't bad either. Only thing to not do is keep the bathroom door open right after you or your roommate get out of the shower. The DFAC is right on site and is pretty good food. There is a fitness center right down the road a little ways and is pretty nice. It is a nice set up and for the most part at the end of the day, as long as you don't have CQ or fireguard, you are free to go. It is over all a fantastic experience. I hope this post means that you are going soon, if so good luck. The chow hall is a chow hall. The school house is nice as well. The entire Drill sergeant academy area is top notch and well kept. The beds are crap, not going to lie. They are really soft and have a weird nylon cover over them, extremely warm. The alarms go off ALL the time. Sometimes it's from the showers but most of the time it's just a glitch in the system. Hands down the best school I've been to. Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 4 at 2016 8:57 AM 2016-01-04T08:57:13-05:00 2016-01-04T08:57:13-05:00 2015-12-07T20:57:38-05:00
