has anyone been painting water colors?

i just started painting after many years hiatus .. it seems to be helping me with life in general.

I don't paint in watercolors, but I have found painting helps me as well. I get in a zone and seem to be able to relax a little better.

I wish I had more time to paint. Every time I start painting, it seems like hours melt away and I can't afford to spend several hours a day painting.

Watercolors is very fun media but very unforgiving.

worked with water-based acrylics for a time but found they dried too fast for me so went to oil instead ---painting does help me relax and time just flies
