It seems its quite strange, as this seems to be a highlight for some to make the transition to BRS.Has anyone actually received Continuation Pay under the BRS? If so, how did you apply for it?2020-02-16T18:52:02-05:00CPT Private RallyPoint Member5566739

Ive searched for success stories regarding individuals receiving continuity pay, but so far have found none. It's only been two or three years since anyone became eligible, and the very few people who were at 12 years for pay had reserve prior service and still had a long way to go for an active duty retirement. The BRS doesn't help those of us who would have missed the first 10 years of TSP matching.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 16 at 2020 8:06 PM2020-02-16T20:06:20-05:002020-02-16T20:06:20-05:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member5568606

Sir,
ALARACT 014/2020 contains this years guidance on continuation pay, 2020 rates are in the link below; it appears to me that rates are currently being set based upon which component/service a Service Member is part of, the Amound of CP is much better for Reserve/National Guard Soldiers at this time.

https://militarypay.defense.gov/Portals/3/Documents/BlendedRetirementDocuments/TAB%20B%20-%20201912%20-%20BRS_CP_CY20%20Signed.pdf
