Has any supply personnel had any experience with starting an SSA from the ground up? Looking for some guidance and advice. Thanks

What specifically are you looking for? That is a very broad area. Are you planning a new site/building or simply a new layout? Is this CONUS or OCONUS? What environment, desert/woodland/urban? So much to talk about in all of those. Have you looked at: atp4_42x2_SSA Ops?

CW2 Robinson, it sounds like they are looking for a mobile SSA that can be the focal point for any supplies needed during the operation. I would suggest reaching out to the units participating to get a supply request in that can be supported with your allowed budget. Then I would think of all the durable items they may need such as pens, printer paper, and so on. This would allow them to "shop" at your SSA during the Annual Training. I would also suggest doing a site survey of the SSA near the training site for a list of their on-hand supplies. For the facility I would contact the Installation's LRC for a spare warehouse, and possibly even some shelving storage. Yes I have. Get demand history from logsa. Establish warehouse locations. Establish r/o's based on equipment density. Get some RX on the ground.
