I realize that is late and I certainly hope that each of my RallyPoint friends wished their living fathers a Happy Fathers Day, those whose fathers passed away had fond thoughts of their dads as they grieved recent deaths and remembered how much their fathers influenced them.
To all my friends who are fathers - Happy Fathers Day - I hope each of your children blessed you with conversation and feasting if nearby.

If you will indulge me, let me re-state a comment I made a few years ago in a different setting for the same occasion.

"I have been fortunate to have held many titles in my career - Lt. Col., Base Civil Engineer, Fire Marshall, Squadron Commander, Group Commander, coach (for four separate teams) and others. The one that means the most to me by far...is Dad."

I enjoyed a great day with my spouse of 37 years and my two grown kids. I hope your day was just as meaningful.
