It is called a Reserve Commission but if you are Title 10, Compo1, and have enlisted through an active duty recruiter, then you will be active duty. For three or more years of active duty enlisted time you earn the &quot;E&quot; identifier. So; say you become a 2LT/O1 after OCS then, your AOC will read O1E, which equates to more $$ in pay.
