I have also been treated by BH but it was less than 6 months, please let me know what you think and i can provide additional details if needed! Do i have a shot? What are my chances of going Green To Gold after having dropped out of college two times due to family problems? 2022-03-01T23:03:08-05:00 PFC Private RallyPoint Member 7550965

Hello, I'm currently in AIT as a 35P i am almost finished with my language training and then ill head off to goodfellow for 2-3 months and then ill be heading to Fort Gordon, I am wanting to get into the grren to gold program however i have dropped out from college two times due to family problems, will this affect me in the selection process? If they were decent then this should not be an impediment. Explain your family problems, and let your grades speak for themselves (but do amplify their voice at an appropriate time:).

IMHO: You might still have a shot.

I will yield to SFC Jason Boyd if he has a differing opinion. You'll want to sit down with a G2G recruiter to see which is the best for you and see which one you're competitive for.

But the family issues you experienced before may come up again, and it's harder to deal with issues when you have less money. Two of the three G2G options involve you leaving active duty to attend college.
