Reagan won despite Bush&#39;s attacks. Then Bush went on to serve two terms as Reagan&#39;s VP (pretty well too) and then win his own bid for President. Trump is beginning to remind me of Reagan more and more, at least in the attacks directed at him. One minute they are saying one thing then a better opportunity opens up and they flip the script to jump on the band wagon. I say we release all Senators and congressman that have been in office for over 5 years and start over with fresh blood. No more of these guys keeping their seats for decades. Yes I understand that its the peoples fault ultimately for re-electing them but lets be honest most voters these days are ignorant to the real issues and get easily fooled during election campaigns. 1SG Private RallyPoint Member Fri, 15 Jul 2016 11:16:05 -0400 2016-07-15T11:16:05-04:00 Response by SFC J Fullerton made Jul 15 at 2016 11:57 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/gov-pence-disagreed-with-almost-everything-that-trump-said-do-you-believe-that-he-has-wavered-on-his-principles-for-political-power?n=1719875&urlhash=1719875 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I think the so called "establishment" probably pushed Trump to choose him, as well as pushed Pence to accept it, in order to give some credibility to the ticket and give their endorsements. I agree with SFC J. Fullerton that the "establishment" probably pushed this, but for a different reason.
