First, it is the chain of command's responsibility to take action if they are wearing the uniform incorrectly or in a disrespectful manner. I am not sure there is anything wrong if they post a picture of themselves wearing the uniform correctly next to a tasteful picture of them in civilian dress and I doubt there is anything the chain of command can do. The second issue is the comments that people are giving to the pictures. Some are blatantly disrespectful to the women and that is wrong. But this is social media so I would hope that the ladies expected comments like that regardless of how right or wrong they may be. You have troops of all branches and both sexes either taking pics or posting pics of others in/out/or in incomplete uniforms and there are sites that exploit them. They even call themselves going after the previous SMA when he called them out. The military is making regs that address this situation, but not enforcing them IMO. Some I can tell are staged and outright funny. Others even have me scratching my head like WTF? Local Commanders need to have those "come to Jesus" moments with their troops with the 1SG taking the "come to Jesus" talk to "You'll pass Jesus and be talking to me" in regards to online behavior. Some is funny I admit, and others are to the point where you question everything. If I can do that and my sense of humor is warped, I know a leader somewhere is shaking their heads hoping and praying whoever it is ISN'T theirs.
