I absolutely support this idea. We all have formal training on firearms anyway and are taught how to defend ourselves. It would also help in early response if another incident on any Base if the bad guys know they wouldn't get to far if they decide to do it again. I don't know why our soldiers, who are trained to defend themselves, don't have this option already? I hold Senior Leadership ultimately responsible for not have this policy in place...NOW.
