You should be sent to your duty station. And if you have a passing first one why did you take the second one? I only remember taking one PT test in AIT. So, I am a little confused. Where are you doing AIT at Ft. Lee? If you’re not FMC it’s for the best that everyone knows and that you go through the proper process to get it fixed. You had good intentions, but you ultimately hurt overall readiness. Getting injured and not getting it checked out...that decision has now bit you in your six hard. Surprised they are chaptering you, but......your ability to reenlist after the Chapter will be determined by what type of discharge you are given and what kind of re-entry code you are classified in. Then there is the factor of finding a recruiter that will work with you in regards to your injury and any medical waivers you may need. I hope you have now learned at least one lesson and went to sick call to get your arm checked out. How could you complete your AIT with out passing the AFPT? 2. After you admitted being injured- did they have you see the medics? 3. How many times did you try a remedial AFPT? 4. Long story short your story stinks. 5, It will depend on the type chapter and re code as to whether or not you can try again. I graduated AIT in Ft Lee about a year ago and there were a handful of people who couldn't pass their second PT test, but the final test is taken about three weeks BEFORE graduation and they make all the failures keep taking it until graduation day. Go to the TMC and get that arm checked out. If the medics think it's bad you may be able to talk to your Plt Sgt and convince them to get you a re-take.
Otherwise if they say no, you will be chaptered out but you can definitely re-enlist as long as you haven't gotten any article 15s or anything like that. You will not receive a dishonorable discharge so do not worry.
I wish you the best, take it easy. Basic and AIT are training and not a PP duty station. You fail one PT test, ok, you can then retake it later. A chapter only occurs for fitness related activities after there has been multiple failures. IE you fail one, you then fail a second and are flagged. You then fail another and a fourth. You do not get chaptered off of one failure.

How bad was this injury to your arm? Was it something that would turn up on a physical examination?

What is the chapter code that you are being chaptered on? Your discharge should be honorable as you have to this point, not stated anything dishonorable. It all depends on what is noted for your RE code. You may have to get some waivers. SSG Brian G. Army regulation states that if, during any time you attend AIT and take an APFT for record, if that test is passed, no other test is required if school is under one year. There are exceptions for 6 months under certain MOSs. 92G is not one of them.
I cannot guide you because there is obviously more to this than you are telling.
Good luck with that.
