That's an awesome deal! I just went diving in the Philippines in November and it has been a LONG long time since I got my open water certification. Great feeling getting back in the water...but I need to get back into better shape...

That's great! I got my PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification back in 2005. I am toying with getting specialization certs later on.

SCUBA is an excellent way to relax, and is available to even the handicapped/disabled. I once dived with a woman who was paralyzed below the waist; she did great once in the water.

I need to get back in the water at some point soon!
