However there are many resources out there for those wanting to get back to or attempt BUD/S. First, ensure the Sailor informs his (or her) chain of command with their intentions. Then have them contact [login to see] .mil. They will be able to provide a POC in order for the Sailor to take the PST. The PST scores will be compared against the country - if they qualify competitively enough they can take the C-SORT. After a physical exam and screening process they will be cut orders to NSW Prep, Great Lakes, IL where they will join their BUD/S Class. 8 weeks prep, 24 weeks BUD/S, 3 weeks Jump School, 26 weeks SQT.
