Pcsing to ft. Irwin California, and trying to get information about the base and area from people that's stationed there.

SPC Love, I would suggest going to the top of your profile page and select the "Networking" tab. From there go to "Explore by Location." From there you can drill down to Ft Irwin and connect with folks who are there right now. That way you can receive the most up to date information. Good luck!!!

Are you being assigned to 11th Armored Cav Regt? if its still there?

Gets outlandishly cold and hot, after all it is the Mohave desert and you're about 40 miles from the nearest town, Barstow, 3 hours or so from the nearest city.
