This area houses around 220,000 Veterans and those of us that work within the Veterans Support Community are working hard to ensure that the city knows exactly what it's role is by having that many Veterans in one area. Companies here are meeting with us and talking to us about how to find meaningful employment for Veterans and what they can do to help Veterans through the transition as well as figure out ways to teach them how things work on the corporate side. The city and the surrounding areas showcase not only some great memorials along side the North Shore outside Heinz Field and PNC Park but also showcases some amazing team work to ensure that the men and women that those memorials are built for are not forgotten.

Nothing everything is perfect. We still have hundreds of Veterans bedding down under our 462 bridges. The VAPHS has been the focus of both local and national investigations. But yes, things aren't too bad for Veterans here.
