<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I have considered it VERY heavily but decided against it. I don't plan on retiring until (hopefully) around age 50 and starting a law enforcement job then just doesn't make that much sense, both for the force, and for myself.

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>This is something I'd love to do when my contract is up being an "LE" AFSC (MOS for the soldiers reading) but I got stuck with security. I have heard of people getting denied a law enforcement career because of military background. Has anyone else heard or had this happen to them??

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I considered it but all Federal LE agencies require a maximum age of 37 and veteran's preferences are out of the equation since O4 and above don't qualify unless with at least 10% disability.
