For those who have put in for a Continuous Overseas Tour (COT) how was your experience? Did you get the duty location you listed?

Currently stationed in Korea, put in a COT in hopes of PCSing to either Germany, Italy, or Hawaii.

I know a couple people who are in my current unit who have either re-enlisted to go OCONUS from Germany, or who have come OCONUS to Germany. All depends on luck and timing.

It all depends upon the needs of the Army. If you request it far enough in advance of PCS, and there is a valid slot for you to move to, then your HRC could give you orders. As SFC Private RallyPoint Member said, there were people in his unit who reenlisted for other OCONUS assignments. That is the only way to guarantee it if you reenlist for it in your contract.
