If you request it far enough in advance of PCS, and there is a valid slot for you to move to, then your HRC could give you orders. As <a class="dark-link bold-link" role="profile-hover" data-qtip-container="body" data-id="1289097" data-source-page-controller="question_response_contents" href="/profiles/1289097-13j-fire-control-specialist">SFC Private RallyPoint Member</a> said, there were people in his unit who reenlisted for other OCONUS assignments.
