While deployed, VLC Media Player was our only way to get AFN. Are there better or alternative ways ?

SFC Private RallyPoint Member - Because I always see various service branches represented on the network, what military unit runs and operates AFN?
Very curious what this chain of command looks like.

I think the #1 question is "Why are there so many interruptions to my music/entertainment?"

This is especially true when the commercials are extra corny or just laughable.

I never tried accessing it over roshan data, but for the most part it's been irrelevant over a couple deployments. Exception being the 2013 Super Bowl on a small cop in AF. More relevant and downloadable content when we hit big fobs. Not everyone is a dodger fan but I am. I'd love to be able to watch kershaw without paying for mlb stuff even on a week delay. Keep striving. I know it's a challenge.
