For the alternate event my for the run, if your post doesn’t have an ergo bike, can you just use the regular stationary bikes in the gym?

You can use a real bike, or the alternative, swim.

35 years and I've never met anyone who did the swim as an alternate event

LTC (Join to see) - Now that you mention it, I've never seen it on the Army side either. It's still an option.
