For a 3rd party, who gets your vote?

This would be the year for a strong 3rd party candidate to make a move. Problem is, there is none. Most people I talk to have no idea who Gary Johnson is. He has to have a viable campaign over time to build support and compete against the other two. Not going to win with just an unknown name on the ballot and no campaign.

Jill Stein, she's a little far to the left in some areas, however as President she will be forced to compromise with congress and those compromises will be better than anything we could get with a Democrat, Republican or Libertarian President.

I lived in New Mexico when Mr. Johnson was governor. He did something that makes him unqualified for politics: Followed Through on his campaign Promise to get rid of the state deficit. He was a good governor for the state, and I will be voting for him, wondering why anyone would waste a vote on Chump or Swillary.

Unless the electoral college changes there will never be a third party candidate, let me explain.

If you live in California or Illinois solid blue states a republican voter has no voice and same for democratic person in solid red states like Texas or Arizona.

In the winner take all electoral college this is what happens, but what if were to do proportional electoral college? For example is a state has 100 votes and all 3 candidates receive 33% of votes they all get 33 votes total.

Sounds like a good idea but the 2 party system will never allow that since it will take votes away from their party. So if you ask me the whole system is rigged and nothing will change no matter how much we talk about it.

No one is going to agree 100% with a candidate, but I agree with Trump more then Killary so I will vote for Trump even though I live and California and my vote does not count.
