I'm trying to figure out if i should have the army move us, or do it myself. If I use the army to move, what will to my house hold goods if they make it to the base before i do? because my lease is up before my report date, so it will have to be picked up early. any information on moving would be greatly welcomed.First PCS move2014-07-07T15:13:55-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member172503<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Doing my first PCS move from Ft.Campbell, KY to Ft. When packers come go over everything and document any damage and you will be paid to replace or repair. Going to Ft Irwin is a hard draw for duty assignment if you don't get base housing you will have to live in Barstow and that is more than fifty miles one way. So let the Army move your goods they will store them and make arrangements to delivery after you find a place to live. Good luck and have a safe move. I was stationed at Ft Irwin for two years I enjoyed my time there.Response by SGT Robert Hawks made Jul 8 at 2014 1:23 AM2014-07-08T01:23:43-04:002014-07-08T01:23:43-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member173733<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Ok thanks the informationResponse by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 8 at 2014 11:47 PM2014-07-08T23:47:10-04:002014-07-08T23:47:10-04:002014-07-07T15:13:55-04:00
