Hopefully you article goes beyond identifying the "roles the military and civilian sectors play in these barriers" and presents approaches to eliminating or at least reducing the barriers. I believe the transition is a lot like navigating an obstacle course. There are financial hurdles, language barriers, educational challenges, work/life balance issues... <br /><br />If the focus of the article is on misconceptions held by corporate America and service members I would go with number 3. If the focus is on tools to build bridges, I would go with number 1.
