SPC Private RallyPoint Member4768364<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>So i am currently deployed. I told my chain of command before we left i did not have a FCP. Still i was made to go. I left my child with her grandmother but she has stage 4 cancer but she was doing fine. I now have been in country a few months and she’s sick again constantly at with doctor with blood pressure of 183/191. She can no longer take care of her so i asked for can i get out on a chapter 5. Now they are saying i have to have a FCP on file to get out but i have no one to put on it. Is there a way i can skip over that part? I have not ever been counseled by my commander or anything. I just want to know if at this time is a FCP even necessary?FCP chapter, do i need to have one on file to get out?2019-07-01T03:42:50-04:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member4768364<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>So i am currently deployed. You may find that they will act differently than whomever is giving you information currently. Getting your child in a safe environment doesn't mean you have to chapter out -- though, it can be the means to that end. If your command isn't moving with urgency, go to the chaplain and red cross. Good Luck.Response by CSM Chuck Stafford made Jul 1 at 2019 7:37 AM2019-07-01T07:37:32-04:002019-07-01T07:37:32-04:00SGT Javier Silva4768813<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div><a class="dark-link bold-link" role="profile-hover" data-qtip-container="body" data-id="1611594" data-source-page-controller="question_response_contents" href="/profiles/1611594-92a-enlisted-automated-logistical-specialist">SPC Private RallyPoint Member</a> An FCP is not required to chapter out. You can actually get chaptered out for not having an FCP. You should have never been allowed to deploy without an FCP --for the very reason you are in now. You need to speak with your deployed commander or 1st Sgt ASAP. I would also be trying to figure out who exactly is going to be taking care of your child.Response by MSgt Michael Smith made Jul 2 at 2019 9:31 AM2019-07-02T09:31:26-04:002019-07-02T09:31:26-04:002019-07-01T03:42:50-04:00
