Started listening to it on the radio in about 1950 and followed through its entire TV life. Knew Marshal Dillon would be faced with a hard obstacle to overcome or decision to make each week and always looked forward to the show. Shows did not always end up with a shooting, hanging, or beat-down. Always waited for Marshal Dillon & Ms. Kitty to hook up but it never happened. Remember a young Bert Reynolds? & of course, Festus always had words of wisdom to offer. But in regards to television shows I really enjoyed the show Firefly which was basically a space western. They even had a train heist episode.
