In fact, I prefer almost any British crime drama over all American ones. I get tired of pretending that fashion models cast as "tough cops" could kick in a door or take down a biker. I get tired of instantly guessing the "bad guy" (Hint: It's the guest star) I get tired of the same shop worn scripts being replayed by different shows.
