Do this now so you know what&#39;s out there before you transition out. That way you&#39;re not scrambling to get access when you need something down the road. <br /><br />For me the most helpful thing was the VA LOE (Letter of Eligibility) for a VA Home Loan. If you&#39;re getting out and thinking of getting a house, do this first. You&#39;ll need housing when the military isn&#39;t providing you BAH or housing. Even if you don&#39;t use the letter for a VA loan, have it on hand just in case. The home buying process is fraught with paperwork and this is one less thing you&#39;ll have to worry about. <br /><a target="_blank" href="https://www.ebenefits.va.gov/ebenefits/about/feature?feature=cert-of-eligibility-home-loan">https://www.ebenefits.va.gov/ebenefits/about/feature?feature=cert-of-eligibility-home-loan</a> <div class="pta-link-card answers-template-image type-default"> <div class="pta-link-card-picture"> <img src="https://d26horl2n8pviu.cloudfront.net/link_data_pictures/images/000/658/254/qrc/ebenefits-logo.gif?1628274554"> </div> <div class="pta-link-card-content"> <p class="pta-link-card-title"> <a target="blank" href="https://www.ebenefits.va.gov/ebenefits/about/feature?feature=cert-of-eligibility-home-loan">About Feature - VA/DoD eBenefits</a> </p> <p class="pta-link-card-description"></p> </div> <div class="clearfix"></div> </div> SSG Carlos Madden Fri, 06 Aug 2021 14:29:17 -0400 2021-08-06T14:29:17-04:00 Response by SFC Joe S.
