Do this now so you know what's out there before you transition out. That way you're not scrambling to get access when you need something down the road.

For me the most helpful thing was the VA LOE (Letter of Eligibility) for a VA Home Loan. If you're getting out and thinking of getting a house, do this first. You'll need housing when the military isn't providing you BAH or housing. Even if you don't use the letter for a VA loan, have it on hand just in case. The home buying process is fraught with paperwork and this is one less thing you'll have to worry about.
https://www.ebenefits.va.gov/ebenefits/about/feature?feature=cert-of-eligibility-home-loan
