But this - Dusty, leaves me speechless. My brothers and grew up watching wrestling as kids and then wrestle each other. <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Yes, sadly Virgil Riley Runnels Jr. AKA Dusty Rhodes, the "American Dream", passed on June 11th at the age of 69. <br /><br />I also remember watching Dusty in Atlanta during the days of the NWA (National Wrestling Alliance) as his signature lisp and sweet style came through to his good friend, and commentator Gordon Solie, "Gordon 'Tholie', the Dream is here!! The man with the power to 'thweet ' to be 'thower'.
