Trust me.... Falling asleep is not a problem in Basic. You&#39;ll pass out before you head hits the pillow. It will feel like the lights are back on before your head hits the pillow, too. Up at 0430, then be in formation by 0445 (plenty of time to crap, shave, make up your bunk and get yourself squared away). <br /><br />After you PT for about an hour, you are marched back to barracks, about 0600, to shower and shave.<br /><br />The formation for chow will start around 0615.<br /><br />The rest of the day will be a blur, and you will finally be allowed to try to get sleep at around 2300.<br /><br />Rinse, wash, repeat, LOL.<br /><br />Sleep deprivation is part of any agencies basicentrance schooling.<br /><br />In basic training I had trouble sleeping, but I am glad I did, because persevering through adverse situations is the goal.<br /><br />I have never heard of a situation such as this which you are asking information. The one problem this could come into is not being able to wake up in time for PRT. But, I would like to add that you may not have a problem falling asleep in Basic. If, however, after about 2 weeks and you still have issues, try and go to medical. During my basic training I was so exhausted it felt like I could literally fall asleep anytime, anywhere.
