How can I get DTS approval to take my POV to BLC?

I’m leaving to BLC in a few weeks (only 3 hrs away). I’m authorized per the handbook that I can take my POV, but DTS is denying it. My NCO has never dealt with DTS, so any other assistance would be helpful.

Find out who is the DTS approving authority in your unit and talk to them. Probably someone in S3.

"DTS" isn't denying it, a person is.
That person's name is on the signature page of this DTS authorization.
That person might have also provided instructions in the denial on what you need to get POV authorized in lieu of a commercial flight.
If they didn't provide instructions, then contact that person and ask what needs to be provided to get that approved.

You're required to provide a constructed travel worksheet if you drive. It compares the cost of a ticket to the cost of driving.

DTS will need a memo from your CDR, and then you have to construct a worksheet with total miles as well as fuel consumption so you can get a refund...get your DTS person to help with it...
