<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>SGT Laux, I was a Brigade Commander over the Cyber Training Battalion, which is the battalion you will be assigned to. EW is trained under the Cyber School. Prior Service Soldiers attending EW is very common and training with Initial Entry Training (IET) Soldiers attending EW right after their BCT -- you go through training and education together. You will have a schoolhouse experience, an experience being a &quot;trainee&quot; in a training company with Drill Sergeants for physical training, formations, admin/log, etc, and this is where you will note a difference in management over prior service trainees like you. You will also have an experience just using the resources available at Fort Gordon. <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I enjoyed the post from 1978 - 1980. Good fishing, running areas, and picnic/camping on base. It is a training base so expect that experience. It was my first official AIT when I was an E6. I was drafted in 1972 and already had a skill the Army could use and sent me direct from bct at Ft Dix, NJ to Ft Lewis, WA. I graduated from bct as an E3.
