Does WWE support of the military do anything for you?

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is an outspoken supporter of the military. Does the WWE get you excited? The support notwithstanding, are you abig WWE fan? Are you a Servicemember who attended a WWE event free because of your military connection? .....can you smell what the Rock's got cookin?!

Being a Wrestling Fan since about I was 8. I watched the original NWA Ric Flair, WOOOO!. The fact that they show support is great. As with Country Music Musicians and NASCAR. I appreciate their recognition However, I doesn't specially do anything for me.

Well they took their time to come to Iraq in Dec '03 to give us a little piece of home. I had a great time talking hunting with Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Big Show and I had a nice goodbye.

Most can probably take it or leave it. However I will give a big shout out to WWE for their support of Special Olympics. I was the head soccer referee last year at the USA Games in New Jersey. WWE was a founding partner. Like Fox and others, they first chip in $1M and then provide something. The money pays for expenses in running the event.

First of all, the athletes LOVE the wrestlers and they love them back. Without question, the biggest smiles were when the beefcake showed up. They in turn always say they are inspired by the athletes and it shows in the way they'll spend time and interact with the athletes. I had to laugh when Chris Christie walked by and was pretty much ignored in favor of the WWE members. There is a special connection between the WWE and these kids. Their booth at the fair was a huge draw. Of course I had to get a photo done there too.

Organizations can pick and choose who they support. Who they support becomes part of their culture and what inspires them. So in this case I won't be a Pencil Neck Geek. I thank the WWE for their support. Lord knows there's a bunch of organizations out there that only "support" the military if it helps the bottom line.

I was a huge fan when I was younger. Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H, Shawn Michaels. That was like porn for a sixteen year old redneck girl's soul, right there.

Cena should be banned from anything remotely related to do with the military. Other than his ghastly use of weird camo...the movie The Marine....I can't get those minutes of my life back...

The wrestling doesn't really do anything for me but I do have to say that John Cena has done more for the Make A Wish foundation than anyone else. He has granted more than 500 wishes!!!
