Does the transgender ban go far enough?

Can you elaborate? Do you think that there needs to be more done than keeping them out and kicking out the ones that are already there?

I think that the current round of political attacks on the trans community are the death rattles of a broken culture, hell bent to hang on to their ways in the face of anyone who is different from them. You cannot, and will not force lgbt people back into the closet or legislate us out of existence. We are serving proudly and honorably now. We will continue to serve this country and we will continue to fight for the right to exist equally with all of you.

Not sure how it could go further. As I understand it they will not be allowed to serve. Go further? What kill them?

If a person can and does do the job why do we want to get rid of them or prevent one form serving?

Thus far, there is no "transgender ban".
When (if) there is, I will have more to say on the subject.
Until then, I support current Army policy for transgender Soldiers to serve openly and proudly.
It is my duty and high honor to take care of and train every Soldier the Army gives me the privilege to lead.

The only thing that should matter is the soldier/sailor/airman or marines ability to perform the mission. Discriminating against someone because they are different or don't comply with your beliefs regarding sexuality or gender is wrong.

The transgender ban is both wrong and morally repugnant.
