<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>No only if you deployed to another NATO campaign example I deployed to Kosovo and then to Afghanistan so I'm authorized to wear the NATO medal for Kosovo and a campaign star for Afghanistan.

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>1SG is correct. First off, if you have the appurtenance on there that says "ISAF" that's wrong. Ten deployments to Afghanistan would only earn you the ribbon. For instance I have 1 NTM-I and 2 ISAF non-article 5 awards, so I am authorized 1 star.<br /><br />AR 600-8-22, para. 9–11: NATO Medal

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>No it is a one time award.<br /><br />Add for those same the is only on NATO, medal this more than one Ribbon designed for different campaign wars. <br /><br />There is also a ribbon for serving in NATO itself or it is a catch all for other NATO campaigns outside the established wars. There was a MILPER message authorizing the the NATO ISAF Medal with no devices. I do not have all the source documentation but it was out there.

Is it this one pictured on presented award (signed by sec.gen.)? Or the plain NATO medal with a campaign star?<br /><br />Unit once said it was not the one pictured. Please assist. <br /><br />My 214 says only NATO Medal. See how this is conflicting.<br /><br />Currently wear ACM w/ 2 BS. I want to add this finally, once and for all really. Read many sources and all very in result. Just a vet looking to get corrected.
