Logically it's an extension of what Trump is advocating. Whether that means he wins or not is an open question, but I suspect that's where the winds are blowing.

I really don't know. It could be a winner for Trump, but Hillary is a head in the Rassmusen ISOSP Pole by 14 points..

He was the only one who Stated for the record that they should leave the EU......While all others tried to bully them into staying, even our own President (who's business is NOT to tell other Countries what to do) Even threatened them with "You'll be the last one picked for the baseball team" How Presidential!

This could be just a short term event and don't forget we have a healthy and improving economy with growth accelerating. But we don't really now at this time if the EU will stay together. That could change everything..

Sadly, while the people who talk politics on this forum know what brexit is, I doubt that more than 20% of the US population has any idea what it is, what the EU is, or even what the UK is (other than they think it's a fancy name for England). So I don't think it will have any impact at all on our election.

I don't think it will have a major impact on our election. I think at least 95% of eligible voters in the US already know who they will vote for and we are waiting till November to make the count.

Don't forget Obama warned the Brits if they left the EU there would be negative consequences to that vote. He said the US may just put the UK back in the queue with their trade negotiations . That dumb comment really pissed off Boris Johnson who could be the next PM and he reminds me of Trump with the same hair and temperament. Boris Johnson and Barrack Obama that will not be a marriage made in heaven to say the least.

Personally, I think it hurts Hillary (something I relish). I think Trump will win in November because I think Obama is going to throw Hillary under the bus at some point in the next few months as the FBI investigation takes hold. I also think the attempt to manipulate the vote by threatening trade agreements if it was not maintained is going to hurt the democrats and Obama overplayed his hand. The EU's philosophy of inclusion has successfully degraded two of the most powerful European countries and significantly affected their economies since the EU shares and shares alike. The nations have lost sovereignty and national pride. After the initial shock of the financial world that will probably last throughout the summer, it will become significantly clearer that it was the right move. Obama's goal has always included embracing a singular point of governance and economy and that takes away the desire to invest capital. Granted, most people do not know what they voted for or how it will affect the United States. I am watching Scotland to see what direction they take after the decision and whether they believe it gives them the impetus to separate.

Sgt Tom Cunnally I'm not sure it will have any affect on the election, but I am hearing rumblings that this is the beginning of the end of the EU. Too many are dissatisfied with the whole cooperative thing.

The BREXIT plays into Trump's hands well as he'll springboard off that to say that everywhere around the world, people are fed up with elitist in your face government. Clinton on the other hand won't have much other than the usual platitudes like the people spoke. Trump will hammer the "unrestrained" immigration issue, Brussels was out of touch like DC is out of touch, and the list goes on.

It's not always about "US". Brexit is a win for those Brits who sought it and a loss for those who opposed it. Although many "experts" are predicting every manner of outcome, we'll just have to be patient and wait and see. The immediate reactions in the markets and capitals of the worlds are transitory. Meaningless blips resulting from mass hysteria.

I really don't think it matters they are two sides of the same coin. Instead of focusing on the election of the President their should be more focus on the 435 seats that are up for election in the House of Representatives. These will be the folks that reign in the newly elected President if she/he gets out of hand.

It's a win for Mr. Trump supported it and it went through and Secretary Clinton was opposed and lost so superficially, it's a win for Mr. Trump. Time (I say the next 3- 5 years) will tell if it was a good or bad decision once all the emotion has evaporated and the reality has set in.

The idea that "BREXIT" has, or should have, a bearing on the 2016 presidential elections in America is... well there are just so many adjectives that it's hard to pick and choose or even select a single one to start with but I'll give it a try anyway. It's presumptive, preposterous and ultimately asinine. We're talking about the people of the UK as a whole, a broadly democratic movement enacted by the populace of a wholly different nation. Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump will become the president of the United States, not the Prime Minister of England, so involving the whole "BREXIT" issue in their campaign is just... LOLWUT? That's a state department and treasury issue, if it happens at all - something we as Americans have exactly ZERO control over.

I think it lends some credibility to Trump. He sided with BREXIT. While Hillary and the President both chided the ridiculous notion of leaving, and threatened to send England to the back of the line for trading, Trump took a more positive stance and ultimately was on the right side of history.

Personally, I am glad that England is out of the EU. No country should tie their fortunes to a conglomerate. It's a recipe for disaster. This move was decades in the coming. It might be rough at first, but I think its for the best for England in the end.

I don't think it matters, because if you have followed the Clintons, everything they have done has been non productive for our country. You can't believe a word that comes out of her mouth. They have never been friends with people in the military or other public services, i.e., Police men and women. If you look back over the years, Her and Bill have did more to hurt our way of life. I lost my civilian job to China. That happened under Obama/Hillary's watch! With her in there, we will loose even more of our manufacturing base and energy producers.
