It was my second to last day at phase 1 OCS and even though I was on an army base, it wasn't mentioned at all. When I was in the Marines, the USMC Birthday was celebrated even if you were in training. Ceremonial cutting of the cake with a saber by the oldest and youngest soldiers on the installation/unit. Was friends with a Marine once I got out and he made a big deal out of the Marines birthday.
