Does the approval of a Chapter 16-7 award me a completion of tour, and therefore authorize a second OSR? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/does-the-approval-of-a-chapter-16-7-award-me-a-completion-of-tour-and-therefore-authorize-a-second-osr

Hoping someone can clarify this for me. I've been reading AR 614-30 and AR 635-200 and the JTR and DoDti regulations but they always seem to reference one-another without a direct answer. (that I didn't see)

This is my question;

I was PCS'ed to Alaska in 2013 and during my time I re-enlisted while I was OCONUS and ended up staying OCONUS for the second re-enlistment. Later on an opportunity presented itself and I submitted a Chapter 16-7 (Reduction in force packet) to leave the Active Army to go to work and join the national guard with about only 4 months left on my second enlistment in the Active Army. Does the approval of the 16-7 award me a completion of tour and authorize a second OSR? I was awarded another DROS date during all of this, but never received orders to stay. And yet again, this was a re-enlistment, not an extension.

All in all, I am just wondering if my reduction of force separation awards a second completion of tour, since I was awarded the initial already.
