Does RP need a facility for sharing memes without getting creative making up questions?

Memes are really popular on the Internet these days and I've wished I could share them without asking some kind of inane question to provide a vehicle for sharing them. Most won't inspire a discussion, just a laugh or two (hopefully)

That's what the "Post Update" function is for, and you can also share more than one in an update.

Hi Jack,
Great question. Members should not create questions for the sole purpose of sharing memes or any other image. This is one the the main reasons we developed the Post Update feature.

Meme's when connected to a specific theme I believe are fine. Meme wars are fine too as long as the respect is there. I saw a meme on FB where Obama was hanging by a noose and the guys on the ground were laughing and making jokes. It was made worse when it was on a vet page by AD SM's I no longer follow. Meme's can bring a lot of laughter in situations where we're ALL pissed off, and just for a few minutes nothing matters. Now if your intent is to make a meme that clearly isn't true (Rubio wining the election or HRC telling the truth, Giuliani having a clue), then once ID'd the admins should take it down and issue a warning to the offender. If it happens again, sucks to be you. I've been gilty of sharing one that was wrong, and the admin let me know of my mistake.

Yes, that feature was introduced in 2014 as the "Post Update" option to post whatever pictures you want. I know that this is something that member admins have tried to explain to you in the past. Even the two of us had a conversation about it last month. Of our nearly 900,000 members, you may be the only one that continues to violate this.
