However my DOR on my ERB is the date I entered AD. So does my TIG not carry over? Does my TIG in the Reserves transfer to Active Duty? 2020-04-04T16:49:07-04:00 SGT(P) Private RallyPoint Member 5740208

I got promoted to SPC on 01JUL19. Your DOR always gets recalculated when you go from Reserves/Guard to AD. The main reasoning, I believe, is in regards to RCP. And as MSG Private RallyPoint Member mentioned is because of RCP and IE/PZ calculations. What sense would it make to transfer to active and instantly be able to be promoted Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 4 at 2020 6:50 PM 2020-04-04T18:50:33-04:00 2020-04-04T18:50:33-04:00 PO2 Christopher Foss 5743952

I'm a bit out of date on these things, but it used to be that your TiS transferred, not your TiG. That meant you were further up the pay seniority scale, but it didn't apply for promotion purposes.

Rather than depending on scuttlebutt, I would go to Personnel and get a definite answer.
