Can anyone help me with the following?

I am currently stationed in Hawaii. I reclassed to 68w and due to go to Fort Sam Houston in May 2014 for AIT. My questions is...

What will happen with my family while I am at training? Will they remain in Hawaii until my training is complete?

If so, Will I return to Hawaii after training to ship household good, car, and etc... after training or will I need a POA to do this for me?

Also, do I need a levy briefing to receive orders to go to AIT? My retention SGT said I need to go to a levy briefing, but when I requested a levy briefing I was told by my S1 I could not get a levy briefing until I am on assignment.

I know a lot of questions but none of these crazies seem to know the answers or I just get tossed from person to person.
Sat, 04 Jan 2014 15:59:14 -0500 Does my family move with me when reclassing to 68W? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/does-my-family-move-with-me-when-reclassing-to-68w

I have asked my unit, retention and so forth for answers and no one seems to know exactly. Your best course of action at this point will be to contact the school house at Fort Sam as they will have the best and latest information for you. 1SG Private RallyPoint Member Sat, 04 Jan 2014 16:01:45 -0500 2014-01-04T16:01:45-05:00 Response by SGM Matthew Quick made Jan 4 at 2014 4:11 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/does-my-family-move-with-me-when-reclassing-to-68w?n=32591&urlhash=32591

Have you spoke with your servicing Career Counselor?
