My question is about how transferable the credits are? Also what opportunities are there after AIT for more schooling? I figure the army will get everything they can out of me so I might as well try and get the most out of the army.Does my 35T AIT count for college credits? If so, are the credits transferable? They offer at least 21 college credits towards various degrees to several 35 series MOS. I think 35T is included. When you get to your AIT, you’ll receive more information. <br /> They’re very flexible and accept credits, as well. You can turn any previous college credits along with what you earn towards a degree. <br /><br />Best of luck.<br /><br /><a target="_blank" href="https://www.cochise.edu/military/">https://www.cochise.edu/military/</a># [login to see] 97-95a3c20f-c7d8 <div class="pta-link-card answers-template-image type-default">

USAF has Community College of the AF (CCAF), I just don't know if other svcs can use it, others on here have said no, that a valid USAF AFSC is needed, analogous to an Army MOS, though I did read of efforts to open it to other svcs, however, I don't know if there was any success or not, I've always kinda wondered that, I'd figured CCAF must get a good many calls from enlisted in other svcs. Look up Univ of the People, (UoPeople), tuition free, only admin and exam costs, the thing is, it's only DETC accredited, not regionally, so I have zero clue if the svcs, VA, or industry accept them, they've got assocs and Bach in bus admin, comp sci, and health sci, as well as an MNA...Response by Capt Daniel Goodman made Jun 26 at 2018 5:32 AM2018-06-26T05:32:09-04:002018-06-26T05:32:09-04:00Capt Daniel Goodman3743223<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>This tablet conks out a good deal, I need to type short amswers....Response by Capt Daniel Goodman made Jun 26 at 2018 5:32 AM2018-06-26T05:32:37-04:002018-06-26T05:32:37-04:00Capt Daniel Goodman3743226<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Look up Excelsior College in NY, was part of NYS govt, I got a 2md Bach in math with them before it privatized, also, Thomas Edison State Univ in NJ, and Charter Oak College in CT, all those are regionally accredited, all real, very svc friendly....Response by Capt Daniel Goodman made Jun 26 at 2018 5:34 AM2018-06-26T05:34:06-04:002018-06-26T05:34:06-04:00Capt Daniel Goodman3743228<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Do the College Level Exam Program (CLEP)....Response by Capt Daniel Goodman made Jun 26 at 2018 5:34 AM2018-06-26T05:34:30-04:002018-06-26T05:34:30-04:00Capt Daniel Goodman3743233<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Look up the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) subject tests, not the genl test, needed for grad school, the subject tests are rough, however a good many of them are no longer given, the thing is, Excelsior back when it was part of anYS State as Regents College under NYSED Educ Dept gave 30 pass fail credits for a passing raw score, not a percentile, actual raw score, 15 twd an assocs, 15 twd a Bach, also, they have a 2nd assocs or Bach rule I think still exists, though I was told the GTE subj test rule allowing credit for minimum raw score was stopped, I think Thomas Edison or Charter Oak, possibly the latter, as I recall, allowed 24 not 30, also, Excelsior never uses fractional grades, a B+ becomes a B, a C- a C, I don't know why they do that, just part of their practices, I gather....Response by Capt Daniel Goodman made Jun 26 at 2018 5:39 AM2018-06-26T05:39:06-04:002018-06-26T05:39:06-04:00Capt Daniel Goodman3743236<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If there's am educ off on your installation, see what colleges or universities they bring in where you are, where I was did that, live in your educ off, so to speak, get to know the staff quite well, if trees an assoc or Bach on installation, pick a major and do it, of you want to chat about STEM or clinical programs, I can suggest other things, possibly, as well....Response by Capt Daniel Goodman made Jun 26 at 2018 5:41 AM2018-06-26T05:41:25-04:002018-06-26T05:41:25-04:00Capt Daniel Goodman3743241<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>What !major would you want? The credits go towards an AA networking degree. But you have to take like an extra math, English and I want to say psychology (not positive about that though) class to finish the degree.Response by CPL Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 26 at 2018 5:55 AM2018-06-26T05:55:20-04:002018-06-26T05:55:20-04:002018-06-25T23:43:41-04:00
