If MOS 42A (HR Specialist) has no officer position on the US Army website, how is it possible for an active duty HR specialist to be currently a Captain? You probably figured that out by now. When I was in, the 42 series was only AG Officers, not enlisted. Enlisted had a different MOS (can't remember what it was). 42A was a student AG Officer and 42B was a qualified AG Officer then. Since I left the Army they redesigned the classifications and made 42 the series for all AG, not just officers.
