Look at promotions from here and what you think retirement will be at the rank you think you&#39;ll make. If you enjoy being enlisted then don&#39;t go warrant. Would you love what job you&#39;d want to do as a warrant? If you love being enlisted and doing what you do now, then stay enlisted. If you want a scenery change then go for it. Just look at promotions and how you&#39;ll progress over the years. I&#39;ve been retired longer than I served. If your short- term finances can take the change, then go for the long-term benefit of greater base pay. I gave up sdap as well, worth it- job satisfaction and retirement pay went up :) CW3 Private RallyPoint Member Tue, 22 Nov 2016 07:36:06 -0500 2016-11-22T07:36:06-05:00 Response by CPT Aaron Kletzing made Nov 22 at 2016 7:49 AM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/does-it-make-financial-sense-to-go-warrant-after-9-years-as-an-e7-with-special-pays-i-know-money-isn-t-the-right-reasons-retirement?n=2097614&urlhash=2097614 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Yes you should go for it CPT Aaron Kletzing Tue, 22 Nov 2016 07:49:34 -0500 2016-11-22T07:49:34-05:00 2016-11-21T20:35:11-05:00
