I feel now I am being awarded too many years of pay now though. I am currently being awarded with over 12 years towards longevity pay.

I was enlisted for 6 years then went to school after on the post 9/11 gi bill. ( no military affiliation except va benefits) After I got my degree I went to OCS.

So I know my 6 years of service, 2 years irr, and 1 year current service should be only 9 years right?

I have looked through DOD Financial Management Regulations 7A and asked around but no one knows. Am I being over awarded years and need to contact bupers and dfas again? Does education have any effect on longevity pay for officers with a break in service? 2020-03-07T16:52:09-05:00 ENS Private RallyPoint Member 5638953

I was having pay issues so I went to my psd and they sent all my information to dfas and bupers. Seems you had roughly three year break in service. Response by COL Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 7 at 2020 8:53 PM 2020-03-07T20:53:45-05:00 2020-03-07T20:53:45-05:00 2020-03-07T16:52:09-05:00
