So I'm sure their business is alive and well. I recently watched a show on cable about military contractors and it showed a snapshot of Erik Prince in court. Nice touch.Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 25 at 2014 5:31 AM2014-04-25T05:31:07-04:002014-04-25T05:31:07-04:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member118933<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I was hoping this topic would get some more face time.Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made May 5 at 2014 7:09 AM2014-05-05T07:09:28-04:002014-05-05T07:09:28-04:001SG Mike Case119267<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>They have changed their name to try and seperate themselves from the "black marks' the company has received in the past. Erik Prince sold his stake in the company and it is under completely new management. The book "Blackwater: The Rise of the World's Most Powerful Mecenary Army" and "Civilian Warriors" give you two good sources about how they rose to power and what really happened to them.Response by 1SG Mike Case made May 5 at 2014 2:00 PM2014-05-05T14:00:10-04:002014-05-05T14:00:10-04:001LT Private RallyPoint Member119279<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>SGT Barnhart,<br /><br />Corporations often change their names to hide from bad reputations.<br /><br />This is business as usual. Prince currently heads the private equity firm Frontier Resource Group and lives in both Virginia and the United Arab Emirates. That is one of the reasons for the name change.Response by MSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 19 at 2014 6:26 PM2014-07-19T18:26:23-04:002014-07-19T18:26:23-04:002013-10-20T04:46:38-04:00
