Does anyone know if retirement pay is currently affected by the debt ceiling? In other words, is the February 2023 payments unaffected?

For now, payments will not be impacted. If this drags on into the spring, that's very possible.

I was finally able to speak with a rep from DFAS and she confirmed that the retiree pay is not currently affected by the current situation. All bets are off if the "extraordinary measures" run out before any agreement is made,
