I am a retired Air Force E-8 who served under Bush 43 during and after 9/11. Thru the impotence and incompetence of Obama's foriegn policy we have lost most all gains, credibility, and influence internationally. When I see my retirement certificate endorsed with the current president's signature I am repulsed for painfully obvious reasons. Has anyone researched how to have a former president sign a retirement certificate presented under a different president? Half of me is like "seriously?", but the truth is, I know I'd feel the same way if I retire with Trumps name on there... Might as well be signed by a Kardashian..

It is possible, GW signs them all the time. I only know 1 person that retired recently that doesn't have one from him. I'm still active but that's who I want signing mine. Contact your local Wing Protocol office.

I know what you saying and want to believe it is possible but in realty I don't think it will happen. If we had that kind of free will to change documents, I see marriage licenses, drivers licenses etc. being falsified. It would set off a firestorm, but, in this day and time who knows what might happen.

Thanks for you input Major. I read a post on a different site (can't remember which) that said a spouse had it done through her state's congressmen. Not sure how it panned out, but it seems to me we don't want add to the already over-tasked folks in Washington D.C. as it appears they already have too much they are not doing as it is.
