Is the passport required, they aren&#39;t with some overseas travel due to a Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA). Are you dual military? If so you should have a family care plan for things like this. And I don&#39;t know the details nor do you need to express them here, but being that this is for a courts martial I don&#39;t think there will be much help. If the military is requiring you to be there they should pay, but if you aren&#39;t required to be there that&#39;s why the cost is on you, because it is a voluntary trip - like leave.
