Rucker and living in an RV or travel trailer while I am there. I have called the Engineering Beach RV park and the other RV park outside the main gate and have all the details about rates and amenities. Does anyone have any insight on what it is actually like living either of those two places and if it was worth it? Was it was worth it?2019-01-24T19:06:10-05:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member4313929<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Ft. Rucker - Living in an RV or travel trailer. I have been scoping out Ft. I do know a few folks who have stayed at the one just outside of the Daleville gate who had no issues there. I would probably limit my search to those 2 options. The other's around Daleville, Enterprise and Ozark gate may be a little "iffy". I have never stayed at the one on post but I have driven through there several times and it always seems quiet and clean. It looks pretty clean when I fly over it on almost a daily basis as well.Response by CW3 Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 26 at 2019 4:14 AM2019-01-26T04:14:24-05:002019-01-26T04:14:24-05:00SGT James Hinch4320243<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>If living in an RV is your kind of thing, then the one on post is pretty nice. Clean, quiet and right on the lake. However, being right on the lake, other people do come through the park to access the lake, but there was still hardly any problems when I was there.Response by SGT James Hinch made Jan 27 at 2019 4:58 AM2019-01-27T04:58:01-05:002019-01-27T04:58:01-05:00MSgt Gene B.4328610<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Engineer Beach does not have sewer hookups. That's a non-starter for us for a long term stay. Breaking down and hitting the dump station every week or two gets very old very quickly.<br /><br />Can't speak to the places off post. Looking at the reviews, they seem a bit sketchy.Response by MSgt Gene B. made Jan 30 at 2019 11:05 AM2019-01-30T11:05:30-05:002019-01-30T11:05:30-05:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member4352823<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Thank-you everyone for the insight!Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Feb 8 at 2019 11:05 PM2019-02-08T23:05:00-05:002019-02-08T23:05:00-05:002019-01-24T19:06:10-05:00
