They didn't have any issues with enlistment. They've been in for about 10 years and been on 3 or 4 deployments.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 26 at 2018 4:27 PM2018-01-26T16:27:43-05:002018-01-26T16:27:43-05:00MSG Private RallyPoint Member3296150<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Your best course of action is to talk with a recruiter. Without delving too deeply, this could/would be seen as a pre-existing mental condition. You may very well need a waiver. The only one to truly answer this question is to speak with a Recruiter. Everyone else, who is not/were a Recruiter, would just be providing speculation. Good luck.Response by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 26 at 2018 4:28 PM2018-01-26T16:28:45-05:002018-01-26T16:28:45-05:00Capt Tom Brown3296319<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Here's a link to an article from a while back on the same subject: taken from below: <br /> <a target="_blank" href="https://www.rallypoint.com/shared-links/army-lifts-ban-on-recruits-with-history-of-self-mutilation-other-mental-health-issues?loc=similar_main&pos=1&type=qrc">https://www.rallypoint.com/shared-links/army-lifts-ban-on-recruits-with-history-of-self-mutilation-other-mental-health-issues?loc=similar_main&pos=1&type=qrc</a> <div class="pta-link-card answers-template-image type-default">
